NOV. 2, 2011: Prosecutors say the telephone records above are verification that Harry “Ray” Soucy called both House Speaker Chris Donovan and his congressional campaign manager, Josh Nassi, on Nov. 2, 2011.

APRIL 3, 2012: Inside a Finance committee meeting, Assist. Majority Leader Aresimowicz discovers that there was to be activity on the RYO legislation. He then appears to participate in the scheme by sending a text message to Harry “Ray” Soucy to let him know. Bear in mind that Soucy has already used coded language in a previous telephone conversation to tell Aresimowicz how much money Chris Donovan received to let the RYO legislation die.

A Waterbury bank manager who bounced a $2,500 check to Chris Donovan’s campaign in April appears to be one of the people who served as a straw donor in the corruption investigation. The bank manager, Dana M. Graziano, whose potential involvement was first reported by the Waterbury Republican American, is no longer employed at CitiFinancial.
