State Senate Majoriy Leader Martin M. Looney said he would have preferred to receive a different type of magazine for a Christmas present.

“I wish he had sent me a New Yorker, the New Republic or the Atlantic,” Looney said when told he was the recipient of a high-capacity gun magazine.

Specifically, both Looney, D-New Haven, and state Sen. John McKinney, R-Fairfield, each were sent one 28-round standard capacity AR-15 magazine, manufactured by C Products Defense Inc. of Bradenton, Fla.

Well I hope they turned them in or registered them so they aren’t felons…

They walked into a shark tank.  What did they expect?  As a liberal progressive you can raise taxes, repeal the death penalty, take Christ out of Christmas, prayer out of public schools, but DON’T under any circumstances mess with peoples GUNS!

Check out the link… lots of juicy details, like:
...“a spokesman for the police said the three empty magazines have been turned over to the Connecticut State Police major crime squad.”

There is NO such thing as a “standard capacity” 28-round magazine for an AR-15. The standard capacity magazine is 30.

And C Products DOES NOT MAKE a 28-round magazine for an AR-15. They do make one for an AK, which is a completely different rifle and different caliber.

C’mon, media. Facts matter. Just Google it if you’re in doubt.

Careful, good citizens, don’t hurt yourselves.

Art: The banned magazines have not resulted in a decline of daily shootings in cities and towns—“as the shooters are not using pea-shooters.”  Some PEOPLE’S GUNS are obviously getting into the hands of the wrong people.
