“Connecticut jobs cuts account for more than 70 percent of the 567 layoffs Sikorsky Aircraft proposes to make this year, according to U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro, D-3rd.”

Connecticut is still waaay behind California’s 12.1% unemployment rate.
Dan’s FIRST FIVE JIVE will cure all this. Just give him time.

They haven’t a clue as to how to stimulate an economy to spur job creation.  There is only one reason an employer will hire an employee - to meet demand and increase output to make more product and more money.  They dont hire people because they want to feel better about it.  What are we doing in the state to encourage businesses to stay here?? What are we doing tax wise to draw in new business.  We are one of the worst states over the last 10 years at job creation… there hasn’t been any… until they address those evil corporations with incentives to do business in CT, we are going to dry up and chase down that California unemployment rate and double down on it.  I realize this will never happen in CT, as it runs contrary to the deep seeded political ideology that runs rampant up here…
