The Illusionists will have audiences rolling over in laughter from comedic magic one minute and sitting at the edge of their seat watching death-defying acts the next, all the while wondering “How do they do that?” Thanks to its rotating cast of characters, this versatile show has something for everyone. Catch The Illusionists on Saturday June 3 at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford for one night only. Show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Relive Beatlemania at FAB4 Music Festival on June 10


Calling all Beatles fans! The FAB4 Music Festival is taking over the Dome at Oakdale Theatre on Saturday June 10 with over 20 talented bands and plenty of food and vendors in tow. Attendees will be transported back to the height of Beatlemania with the fashion, memorabilia and of course, music that defined the era and legacy of the Fab Four. This installment of the annual festival will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the group’s best-selling album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, which spawned beloved hits like “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds,” “When I’m Sixty-Four,” “With a Little Help from My Friends,” and the album’s title track. The excitement kicks off at 1 p.m. with a jam-packed schedule of tribute bands playing both the Dome at the Oakdale Theatre and the venue’s outdoor patio area.

Neil Diamond takes center stage at Mohegan Sun Arena for anniversary tour

The crooner returns to Mohegan Sun Arena on June 11 for a performance that is sure to please longtime fans. With half a century of hits to his name, you can expect this concert experience to be a fun and lively sing along from beginning to end, with fan-favorite tunes like “Play Me,” “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “Forever in Blue Jeans,” and of course, “Sweet Caroline” leading the charge. Diana Krall makes a stop at the Bushnell on summer tour


Acclaimed jazz singer and pianist Diana Krall will perform at the Bushnell’s Mortensen Hall for one night only on Tuesday June 13. Krall, whose distinctive voice has earned her five Grammys, is hitting the road this summer in support of her thirteenth studio album Turn Up the Quiet, which was released earlier this month. Her latest effort sees Krall put her own spin on beloved jazz standards, including a bouncy rendition of Nat King Cole’s “L-O-V-E” which highlights her piano talent and a slowed-down, passionate cover of Dean Martin’s “Sway.” Catch the Canadian songstress perform tunes from her latest album along with other hits from her lengthy career when she takes the stage of Mortensen Hall at Hartford’s Bushnell Theatre.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers headline in Hartford

Fans won’t want to miss Petty and company when they roll through town on what may be the band’s farewell tour. The “Free Fallin’” singer has previously hinted that the milestone tour could also be his last, citing increasing age and a focus on family as a driving force in the decision. The band will be joined by rock icon Joe Walsh of The Eagles as a supporting act, making this concert a must-see. The show begins promptly at 8 p.m.
