Why are you always dissing Hartford, Yo? I believe there was a horrific crime in Cheshire. Why not draw that in the background?

I am a little concerned about Rell's apparent inability to multitask. A more apt connection, though, would be how she is ignoring the blight of abandoned buildings which attract crime.

In defense of my comic, Hartford is the capitol of Connecticut. When I talk to people about CT, they automatically associate it to Hartford, NOT Cheshire, or New Britain, or any other city in CT. Yes, I labeled the city in the background as Hartford, but that could be just a broad representation of ALL cities in Connecticut.

Thanks Doug, I can only hope Jodi Rell Likes it as much.

Funny, I'm not from Connecticut, so when I used to think of Connecticut, I thought of Greenwich. On my recruiting visit to CCSU in New Britain I thought this can't possibly be the state in "Who's the Boss?" I thought all of Connecticut was wealthy and suburban, I had no idea there were urban centers.

As someone who wants to see Hartford succeed and thrive like my native Chicago, I just think it doesn't help to give it a bad image. I know it wasn't intentional, but if I accepted it and didn't say anything then I would feel like I was part of the problem, not the solution.

I love your toons Jeff because they prompt emotion, mostly laughter.

Keep up the great work.
