In an interview with WTIC radio host Colin McEnroe Thursday, Rogan said, he hopes viewers come away from the film with an idea of what blogs can do. “The spirit the blogs induced in the campaign with was extraordinary and really inspiring,” Rogan told McEnroe. Some of the drama Rogan captured in the film was the media frenzy following the crash of Lieberman’s campaign web site. Click hereto watch a clip of the film posted on Jane Hamsher’s blog. The clip opens with Tim Tagaris, who headed Lamont’s web site, reading the news about Lieberman’s web site crash. “This is bullsit,” Tagaris said. Later that day bloggers with the Lamont campaign discover Lieberman is paying a $15 monthly service charge to the company hosting his campaign web site. “Bloggers waste little time in mocking the latest effort to attack them,” the film’s narrator explains. For those unaware, it took four months for the U.S. Attorney and state attorney general to figure out Lamont and his supporters were not responsible for the web site crash. Lieberman has not commented on this latest development. Rogan told McEnroe Thursday that Tagaris emerged as the hero in the documentary film. Other bloggers featured in the film include: ctblogger, CT Keith, CT Bob, Maura, Spazeboy, Markos Moulitas of the Daily Kos, and more. All the bloggers received advanced copies of the film and according to Connecticut Bob’s web site he may be planning a Hartford screening of the film Jan. 17.
