Would you like your ad to appear on CTNewsJunkie and reach the state's most influential people?
CTNewsJunkie.com provides a daily dose of political news from the state Capitol and elsewhere within the world of politics and government. With our partners, The New Haven Independent, the mainstream media often follows our lead in reporting news that impacts your community.
The site was launched in 2005 and is now averaging between 200,000 and 350,000 visits a month. With every click our popularity continues to grow as more readers learn about our quality coverage. It's clear that lawmakers are reading this site more and more.
In 2008 we also launched the Friday Night Fix! -- our weekly email edition. It's a recap of the week's news, but also highlights interesting stories we heard or watched on the air during the week or found on some of our favorite blogs. We also include in it the latest breaking news from the capital. The Fix reaches just under 7,000 people, including just about every member of the General Assembly and its leadership, the governor's office, dozens of municipal, industry, and labor leaders, about 700 lobbyists, and most of the members of the local RTCs and DTCs across the state. Here's a recent edition.
Each advertisement that appears on our site also appears in the Friday Night Fix!
In early 2011, we launched both a new email blast called Morning Coffee & Politics and new tech news site, CTTechJunkie.com.
Morning Coffee & Politics is delivered four days a week, Monday through Thursday, and is compiled by the magnificent Melissa Ozols, as well as a few other contributors. MCP targets an even more exclusive list of political insiders and offers humor as well as excellent info about the day ahead in Connecticut politics. This email blast offers news and analysis that doesn't appear on the website, so it's a must-read. Here's a recent edition.
CTTechJunkie is a project being headed up by Lon Seidman, who has been providing coverage and analysis of all things tech-related in Connecticut, including the state's aerospace links to NASA.
Check out our email editions by signing up here. They are free. And, by signing up for either of our email editions you are helping us create jobs and make us a sustainable enterprise.
