UConn Names New Police Chief

The University of Connecticut named Barbara O’Connor its first female chief of police Wednesday. O’Connor will replace outgoing chief and Vice President of Public Safety Robert Hudd, who announced his retirement in June after his $256,000 salary attracted public attention.

Bond Commission To Authorize $18 Million For UConn Tech Park

State Repairs Prison as it Shuts it Down

It was scheduled to close, taken off the chopping block, and recently ordered closed again. But throughout, the state has moved forward with a $34,488 project to repair its perimeter fence.
