Poll: Malloy Performs Well In Crisis, But Voters Don’t Favor Re-Electing Him

Sixty-seven percent of voters believe Gov. Dannel P. Malloy handles a crisis well. Whether it’s the Newtown shooting or a blizzard, Malloy gets high marks from voters in Tuesday’s Quinnipiac University poll, which found the governor’s approval rating at an all-time high of 48 percent — up 5 points from a week ago.

Poll Finds Support For Stricter Gun Laws

Hours after the legislature’s gun task force released its divided recommendations on stricter gun control measures, the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute unveiled a poll, which shows voters support stricter gun laws 66 to 30 percent.

Conservative Poll Shows Malloy’s Approval Rating Is Up

The conservative Yankee Institute’s poll of 500 voters found Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has a 54 percent approval rating — his highest rating yet since the group started polling three years ago.

Advocates Say Survey Shows Support For Education Reforms
