The Economic Observer covers infrastructure with a comparison between the U.S. and China and says the U.S. is spending less than ever on maintaining its infrastructure. The advocacy group Transportation for America recently produced an online map of bridges and their various stages of repair or disrepair. Check out the condition of the bridges on your daily commute here.

If you’d like to report a local bridge in disrepair, try using SeeClickFix.com. Many municipalities are watching for reports on the site, but if it’s a state road it’s good to report problems directly to the state Department of Transportation here.
