Join us for an evening of dancing, light supper, and desserts as we celebrate The ARC-Connecticut’s 60th year of advocating for the rights of people with intellectual and development disabilities at the Aqua Turf in Southington. Channel 3 Eyewitness News reporter Jill Konopka will emcee the evening. Former state Comptroller Bill Curry and award-winning journalist and media consultant Shelly Sindland will judge the dance competition. CTNewsJunkie’s own Christine Stuart is among the contestants along with Miss Nutmeg 2011 Jessica Lesage and Deputy Treasurer Jonathan Harris and his wife, Lucy. Tickets for the Friday, Oct. 28, event can be purchased online or by calling (860) 246-6400 x101. Watch what happened at last year’s event here.
Also tonight is Direct From Broadway - an evening with Broadway’s brightest stars to benefit the Hartford Children’s Theatre.
