When we first reported the story back on April 21, Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Richard Blumenthal had accepted about $223,000 in political action committee money, now his total is up to $480,000. His Republican opponent Linda McMahon continues to hammer him on the issue. His campaign maintains that when he made the statement a day after getting into the race in January, he was talking about his past campaigns for attorney general and not the U.S. Senate race.

Linda McMahon is using $50 million dollars of her own money, as she does not want to be bought by PAC money. Richard Blumenthal refuses to use his family bankroll, and has been liberal in accepting PAC money, some of which, he was forced to return, due to pressure from Linda McMahon. However, Pres. Obama, anticipating Congressional seat losses on Nov. 2, needs his vote in Congress, and is coming to Fairfield County for a Blumenthal fund-raiser. Whether, it’s PAC or Obama, Blumenthal, is using other people’s money, with expected strings attached, including being a “Congressional Yes Man, for Obama.
Realistically, “Linda McMahon is not selling her soul for monitary gain, as Richard Blumenthal, has chosen to do!”

CT Jim:
You continue to be NASTY in your comments. You appear to be threatened by Blumenthal’s impending defeat at the polls, and have sunk lower in your patented bad-mouthing to kid-stuff, name-calling, in creating: “McMahoniacs.” You are desperate, in backing your Obama rubber- stamp-loser, in Richard Blumenthal. You must be, “a Blumenthaliac,” “by your low standards of classifying candidates for office.
“You aren’t helping Richard Blumenthal, when you sound like a fool, in your comments!”
