No one cares about Afghanistan. Everyone loves those “passionate” Tea Partiers. And all that hullabaloo over the Vietnam War? That was so last summer.

That’s how the world—or at least Connecticut’s electorate—thinks.

At least that’s what you would think after watching the first head-to-head debate Monday night between the two major-party candidates for Connecticut’s open U.S. Senate seat.

The decisive moment of this campaign may turn out to be Millionaire McMahon’s “I have no comment” in reply to the fact that the Department of Labor’s investigation into WWE is a criminal investigation.

The last time I looked, the DOL reports to the Governor’s office.

DOL investigation into workforce classifications, accepting the endorsement of a PAC that advocates the elimination of the minimum wage… There was a time when the press would have had a round-the-clock field day with just one of these.
