Where does Mr. Dinardis stand on Ct. citizens having initiative-referendum rights? This is going to be a big issue this election. Is he like Malloy defending the status quo, or is he willing to let the people have some say. Ct. is one of 19 states with no form of direct democracy.  If the state govt. was well-run, responsive, inclusive and in-touch, I could understand resistance to initiative-referendum, but that is surely not the case. People are tired of Hartford and Washington-they want to be heard!!

I agree that this will be a big issue in this election. As far as DiNardis is concerned he is a progressive Republican and as such should be in favor of I&R. No doubt he’ll be asked by the press and in forums/debates. It will be interesting to see how the parties handle this hot potato. I know the Tea Party people are tuned in.

LOL Referendum Government is only an issue for you and ten of your friends.
LOL Nobody else cares. The issue is a non starter and except for you 2 gets zero coverage. LOL

Ct. Jim-you’re in serious denial. The incumbency system that you cling to is in serious trouble this Fall. The deck chairs on the Legislative Titantic will be blown overboard after the voters get through with the oligarchic clowns that you defend so zealously.
