I am unable to find this California statute that Dave cites. Sounds like bullshit to me. Can you please post a link.

The cold spot that Dave’s wife experienced, 15 degrees!!  did she have an ultra sensitive thermometer that is able to read the temperature change in half a second? What time of year did this occur? Was there an open window nearby?  Lets get her on the show!!

Ahh, Erik, you obviously jump ugly before you think!  If you had “researched” the California Civil Code (Ca Civ. Section 1710.2), you would have found:
“California’s Stringent Disclosure Requirements
California sellers must fill out and give the buyers a disclosure form listing a broad range of defects—such as a leaky roof, deaths that occurred within three years on the property, neighborhood nuisances such as a dog that barks every night, and more. In addition, California sellers must disclose potential hazards from floods, earthquakes, fires, environmental hazards, and other problems, in a Natural Hazard Disclosure Statement. California sellers must also alert buyers to the availability of a database maintained by law enforcement authorities on the location of registered sex offenders.”  See Nolo web site.
Please note the portion that refers to “deaths within the last three years.”  Not only is the Seller require to disclose the death, but also if the death was a result of a murder or suicide or a result of AIDS/HIV.  the legislative history for that code section indicated a concern of legislators as to the psychic impact that a murder or suicide would have on the premises.  Remember, this is a state where there is a concern over the building/home’s feng shui (ahh, the land of nuts and berry’s).  So, erik, before you sling the ol’ BS accusation, make sure that YOUR position is supported!
As for my wife being on the show, you can FORGET that!  She wouldn’t be caught dead within a mile of a michrophone (I’m the outgoing one of the family).  The stairs and the mirror in the bathroom were not near vents, and even if they were, February 14 (we were having a Valentine’s Day dinner) would have mandated the HEAT being on, not the A/C, and that the windows be closed.  the starway was in the middle of the restuarant, not near windows or doors.  You should also know that the human body IS sensitive to temperature change, particularly changes over 5 degrees (part of the ol’ fight or flight survival mechanism).  So, I would ask that you not implicitely denegrate or otherwise cast aspersions on my wife’s interesting experience (btw, she never descirbed the incident as paranormal herself, that was MY interpretation).
