CTNJ File Photo Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will travel North to New Hampshire Saturday where he’ll make two stops to plug for President Barack Obama’s reelection.

The governor will begin the day with a 10:30 breakfast event at a senior center in Manchester, New Hampshire, Connecticut Democratic Party Executive Director Jonathan Harris said.

“He’ll stress the choice in this election between the president’s commitment to seniors and the middle class and the Romney/Ryan plan on Medicare, replacing it with a voucher system,” Harris said.

Next, Malloy will head to Hampton, where he will be the headline speaker at the Hampton Democrats Summer Community Picnic. Harris said the event functions as a fundraiser for the local town committee and will take place at the home of Jim and Toni Trotzer.

Malloy’s talk will focus on motivating residents to do what they can to help out Obama over the next 73 days and encourage them to engage in the election, Harris said.

The governor was invited to attend both events, he said.

How much is this costing the tax payers of CT?  (I don’t just mean the immediate cost of this trip either!)

Ya know something I may have been wrong about Dan being the worst Governor ever…  Dan is clearly the best Governor MA ever had!  Think about it… Middlesex construction of MA gets the award to build the $1,000,000,000+ busway.  We are going forward with the New Haven – Springfield line…  What does this add up too?  Easy access for New Yorkers to blow threw CT to throw tons of money at the new casinos and strip clubs in Springfield!

Bonus question: How many commissioners, deputy commissioners, and managers in charge of state agencies graduated from UMass (Especially Amherst!)? – A: More than half!

What’s the matter Dan UConn grads not good enough to run your fiefdoms?  I guess it makes sense that CT construction workers, casinos, and strippers aren’t good enough either then…

Speaking of education - Someone should tell Dan NH doesn’t border CT so there is nothing he can directly give away to them from CT taxpayer’s pockets…

Oh well, things could always be worse… re-elect Dan and Obama and they will prove it!

Well, at least this trip will be on the weekend. That said, I too would like to know who is paying for the trip? Did Malloy drive his own car? Does he even own a car? I mean, when he moved into the big house, renovated and securitized it to the max so the pesky neighbors couldn’t walk their dog in the woods, Malloy sold his million dollar home. Maybe he sold the family car too. I hope he paid his own gas and left his security detail with all that unlimited overtime at home too. But none of that is likely because Malloy and his team are paranoid and after all, some “Live Free or Die” believer might want to come out and whack our governor. Yeah right.

I am extremely pleased that our Governor is campaigning for President Obama. I am not bothered at all about the $$ spent - hey, it’s not as if he went to a conference in Scotland, and played golf for a week. Does anybody remember John Rowland?
