Unskilled hackers at your local coffee shop can gain complete access to your Facebook account as well as other online services with a simple mouse click.  Fixing the problem is easy but many people haven’t implemented it, surfing away completely unaware of how vulnerable they may be to a cyber intrusion.

Facebook Changes Policies in Response to Jepsen’s Concerns

HUGH MCQUAID PHOTO Attorney General George Jepsen said Tuesday his complaints about privacy prompted executives at Facebook to change its policies regarding the “opt out” process for its facial recognition software that helps identify users in photos.

Connecticut Attorney General to Receive Details on Apple & Google Location Gathering

Apple last week issued a statement detailing how its smartphones record and track users’ whereabouts, including an assertion that the company is not tracking its users, but rather, the phone maintains a “crowd-sourced” database of nearby Wifi hotspots and cellular towers.
