At ctnewsjunkie.com, we are thrilled to bring you reporting you can’t find anywhere else. Apparently you like it, otherwise you wouldn’t visit our site.

Original journalism is expensive to produce. That’s the reason you don’t see as much of it in newspapers these days, because cutting reporters is the easiest way to improve the bottom line.

If this were a hard sell, we would tell you these media outlets think you just don’t value real news, that you’re not willing to pay more than 50 cents a day for it.

In a hard sell, we would ask you to prove them wrong by donating a monthly subscription amount to ctnewsjunkie.com. It will help us pay contributors for their work, which will hopefully attract more writers, and even more solid content.

But we’re not going to give you the hard sell.

We’ll opt for a softer, PBS-style approach. If we’re providing a commodity you value, a service you appreciate, then be a mensch and throw us a few bucks a month. You’ll be funding independent journalism in the truest sense of the phrase.

Just click on whatever dollar amount you feel comfortable, and you’ll be redirected to Paypal, where you can give us the money. If you don’t have a Paypal account, take a minute to set one up. Don’t worry, it’s painless.

And whether you decide to scrounge up a few bucks for us or not, thanks so much for your support!
