Gov. M. Jodi Rell has been dancing around the question about who she would endorse in the presidential race for more than a week. Monday afternoon her office finally sent out a press release saying she would be supporting Arizona Senator John McCain.
Lt. Gov. Michael Fedele joined Mrs. Rell in endorsing McCain. In the press release, she said, “Now - especially now - I can think of no one I would rather see leading our nation.”

I like McCain, he is his own man, I respect that.
Obama is starting to grow on me.
I saw Hillary today in Hartford. She seems to say what she thinks others want to hear said. It reminded me of a High School pep rally this morning.

Yeah I think McCain seems like the best pick of the Republicans. He's a hawk on the Iraq thing, but I think he'd be responsible down the road, in terms of getting people home as soon as possible. He's had enough personal experience to earn that trust. I also think he'd be the best - of the Republicans anyway - in terms of making sure our gov't isn't torturing people.
