It’s BICE-uh-witz

by Paul Bass | November 12, 2009 2:12 PM
Posted to Election 2010

On the streets of New Haven, the newly energized governor’s race entered the tongue-twister phase.

“Bice-uh-WITZ … kee?” asked Dee, a woman walking her dog by the Dwight Co-op Homes.

“Bye … ZEEK?” ventured computer engineer Jervon Drayton as he waited for a bus on Church Street.

“I would assume,” said graduate student Eric Guindon, “it’s bice-YAY-vich?”

Click here to read more of Paul’s report and find out if anyone was able to pronounce Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz’s name correctly. Based on this week’s poll Bysiewicz is currently leading a crowded field of candidates in the 2010 race for governor.

Busy Bysie, that's all you need to know. All the people interviewed were friends of Paul, trust it. Must be a 'slow news day' in New Haven. That's when Paul takes to the streets with his camcorder. (No, I won't watch.)

Another lady guv, I don't think so!?! Bysie is no Ella Grasso. Neither was Relland: She carried baggage for Rowl. At least Jodi has brains enough to get out at the top, following in the footsteps of Sandra Day--another overrated female pol/SC justice.

Prediction: Palin and Relland hitch up together and run for Prez/VP, while SootyMayor retires early due to incipient, chronic, debilitating, late-onset 'wise latina' disease.

Ridiculous, embarassing comment, Doriss.

Are you out of meds?
