Lawlor Offers Advice to Illinois Lawmakers

Rep. Michael Lawlor, co-chairman of the legislature’s Judiciary Committee, offers Illinois lawmakers some advice on impeaching a governor in this Chicago Tribune editorial. Lawlor was one of 10 members of the Select Committee of Inquiry, which was in the process of deciding whether to impeach former Gov. John G. Rowland when he resigned from office back in 2004.
