NewTrust Web Site Goes Public

For over a year, a large group of people have been working on building a news portal based on rating news stories on their journalistic qualities. Today, the site has entered into public beta, and I would encourage everyone to check it out, read some of the news articles, and perhaps review a few stories and even submit a noteworthy story.Readers are asked to rate stories based on how fair, balanced, accurate, and important the stories are, along with other criteria. The system has been set up to try and limit gaming of the site and to promote a non-partisan balanced view of the underlying journalism.By working together, we can encourage readers to pursue better journalism and writers to produce better journalism. Please, stop by and check out NewsTrust today.Click here to read a New Haven Independent article on NewsTrust.
