Health Equity and Consumer Protections Applauded

The Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut applauded Gov. M. Jodi Rell for signing legislation to create a “Commission on Health Equity,” which will help make sure that all of Connecticut’s residents receive the health care they need.

Also the Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and Healthcare Advocate Kevin Lembo applauded the state for coming in second in a national survey of consumer protections in the individual health insurance market.
