State reaps $2.8 million in Omnicare drug overcharge settlement

Connecticut will receive $2.8 million as part of a nationwide settlement with Omnicare, the nation’s biggest provider of pharmaceutical drugs for the elderly, has agreed to pay $49.5 million nationwide to settle fraud allegations.
