In this press release state Sen. Donald DeFronzo, Rep. John Geragosian, Rep. Tim O’Brien, and Rep. Peter Tercyak highlight how New Britain’s Mayor Timothy Stewart used his political influence to sweeten his firefighers pension.

I smell a real rat. Why is this legislation ever considered, under any circumstances? It wasn't long ago that Rep Caruso of Bridgeport actually held hearings because he wanted to be a full time vs. part time legislator -- $140K plus benefits, more than three times what the job currently pays. That's another rat -- a really big one.
