Lawmakers Return to Talk About the Future of News

Lawmakers from New Britain and Bristol return to the Capitol Monday to talk about the future of their local newspapers: The New Britain Herald and The Bristol Press.

We’ll be there to get the latest update on what’s going on with the potential sale of these newspapers and the state programs being used to entice potential buyers.

Glad you will be at today's 1:30 meeting, looking forward to reading what is happening.

Unfortunately, Commisioner McDonald's office says the public and media cannot attend the meeting.
