The International Association of Iron Workers Local Union 15 is endorsing Speaker of the House Jim Amann of Milford for Governor today at 5 p.m.

Ed Reilly, who serves on the union’s executive board, said in a press release that Amann has earned the endorsement of the Iron Workers with a consistent record of support for issues facing working people.

“Speaker Amann has consistently proven to be a leader that truly cares about the challenges facing workers and we know we can count on that record when he becomes Governor,” Reilly said. “Whether the challenge is preserving jobs, fair wages or health coverage, working people know they have a strong voice in Jim Amann.”

The union will endorse Amann tonight at their headquarters in Hartford at 20-28 Sargent St.

I find it really interesting to find out who has Jim Amann's back, and look forward to further clarity about exactly who supports him and who doesn't.
