Plan B for Rape Victims Passes Committee Vote

Legislation that would mandate hospitals to offer emergency contraception to rape victims passed its first test Friday in the Human Services Committee.
Three Democrats and two Republicans voted against the bill, which passed 12 to 5. Two members of the committee were absent. Click here for the vote tally.
