Surplus Projection Expected to Dip Again

The state surplus may be headed for another downturn according to this letter to Gov. M. Jodi Rell from Budget Secretary Robert Genuario. At the moment the Office of Fiscal Analysis has projected a $160 million surplus, which is down about $100 million from the beginning of the year.
